Advanced Ozone Therapy Treatment

Advanced Ozone Therapy Treatment

Ozone therapy is a medical treatment that uses medical-grade ozone (O₃) — a highly reactive form of oxygen — to stimulate healing, improve oxygen delivery, and modulate the immune system. It has been used in parts of Europe for decades and is practiced in countries like Germany, Italy, and Spain under regulated medical settings.
Advanced ozone therapy is a modern medical treatment that uses carefully controlled ozone generated from pure medical oxygen with certified equipment. It works by improving oxygen metabolism, supporting immune function, reducing inflammation, and helping eliminate bacteria, viruses, and fungi in controlled clinical settings. It also enhances circulation and supports the body’s natural detoxification processes.

Types of Advanced Ozone Therapy

A. Major Autohemotherapy (MAH)

Major Autohemotherapy involves drawing a small amount of the patient’s blood, mixing it with medical-grade ozone, and reinfusing it into the body. It is commonly used to support chronic infections, autoimmune conditions, fatigue, and inflammation.

B. Minor Autohemotherapy

Minor Autohemotherapy uses a small blood sample mixed with ozone and injected into a muscle to stimulate the immune system, often used for allergies and immune support.

C. Ozone IV Therapy

Ozone IV therapy involves infusing ozonated saline solution intravenously to promote oxygen utilization, circulation, and overall cellular support.

D. Ozone Insufflation

Ozone insufflation introduces ozone gas into body cavities such as rectal, vaginal, or ear canals to provide systemic or localized therapeutic effects, particularly for infections.

E. Ozone Injection Therapy

Ozone injection therapy delivers ozone directly into joints, herniated discs, or trigger points to help reduce pain, inflammation, and support tissue recovery.

F. Ozone Sauna (Transdermal Ozone Therapy)

In ozone sauna therapy, the patient sits in a steam cabinet while ozone gas is applied externally to the body (with the head outside), supporting detoxification and circulation through the skin.

Scientific Evidence & Regulatory Status

Some clinical studies suggest that ozone therapy may help with wound healing, diabetic foot ulcers, herniated disc pain, and certain dental infections. However, in the United States, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved ozone therapy for most medical conditions and considers ozone a toxic gas with no established medical use in standard practice. In contrast, some countries in Europe and Cuba integrate ozone therapy into parts of their healthcare systems under regulated medical settings.
